Do not quite understand. Which tab are you talking about? Can you provide a screenshot? Text "new items" should disappear when you hover over an item in any tab. Why do you need this text after hovering?
Moreover, now there is a separate tab with the latest items. It is even more convenient than the text about "new item".
newCatItemsNumber=15 is number of items in this tab.

Returning 2.0 New Balance has a system which highlights new items with a brighter background. That does not work with this inventory anymore.

I won't be able to use their highlighting. But in principle, i can do the same in my inventory. Although I don't see much sense in this because my inventory has its own solutions for these purposes.

What exactly is the problem with the mouse? (need more descriptions, screenshots, videos, saves, gothic.ini, systempack.ini, OS, name of mod, version of mod, version DX11, list of plugins). To try fix problems, I need to repeat them.
About DX11, I always play with the latest version https://github.com/Kirides/GD3D11/releases
Also, if you are guaranteed to have a problem, you can archive your version of Gothic (the entire folder) and upload archive on google disk and I will check it. This will be the fastest way to check and fix your problem.

Yes, I had such an idea with a field for an item filter. This would be useful in big mods like Odyssey and New Balace. Perhaps I will do it in the future. There is no time yet to globally add something to the plugin.

I'll try my best to explain:
I always press F11 to go to Desktop and once i got back to the game, sometimes the desktop mouse cursor appears in the game which means i have to do the following:
Press F11 -> ESC -> Press F11 again -> ESC to make it disappear again.
Also the mouse sometimes gets stuck if you are pressing right click to skip dialogues / end dialogues, which is solved by a simple ESC press as well.
It is said, i believe it is NOT an issue from the mod itself but from the "EnableWrapper" in the systempack.ini.
I gotta search my VOD from yesterday and make a clip from the "desktop mouse in game" issue, with an explaination of what i did to fix it.

Understand. But to switch to the desktop, you can simply use alt + tab. I always switch like that and there were no problems. There is no need to press F11 before this.

It's a habit from the past. ALT TAB caused many crashes back in the days

- SDK updated to 1.0l.
- Fixed the problem of not starting the plugin with the new Union 1.0l for G1, G1A.
- Added check for Union version, with version below 1.0l the plugin no longer works.
- The plugin has a default forced enabling of EnableWrapper. Even if the player has EnableWrapper = False in SystemPack.ini, the game will use a wrapper. To disable automatic wrapper, set bNeedDisableAutoMouseWrapper = 1
I also remind you that in Union 1.0l there is a new option NoDirectXAxisMode = false. It is for players who have something in the system that interferes with working with the mouse and if your mouse doesn't work very well, try enabling this option.

Die Maus muss aktiviert sein und am besten auch die Gothic 2 Steuerung. System/Systempack.ini und den folgenden Eintrag so ändern: Gothic2_Control=1
